Of course, I am talking about the destiny that God the Father has set for us to find. Many times in our lives we have to have more confidence in the ability of God to lead us than our ability to follow. The question of the hour becomes are you following His plan for your life. The devil himself would rather you not find your destiny. He would like to use one of his most effective tools to “shipwreck” you. What is one of these high level tools that he utilizes? I'm glad you asked!.. Distraction seems to be a big one. These distractions come in all forms. For some it may be a favorite hobby like table tennis,Reading, Gambling, martial arts or bodybuilding. Others it may be your job, soap operas, dance and for some it may be Facebook, Twitter, surfing the internet, pc or video games etc. So maybe we need to define the word distraction.. an easy distraction definition could be the following:

Distraction is the divided attention of an individual or group from their main focus.

Any of the areas listed above are not necessarily in and of themselves are distractions but when practiced too much they put our lives out of balance and we neglect other areas of our life that need to be taken care of. For example.. If I play video games for two straight days and don't eat, sleep, talk to my wife or kids, go to work etc... these are all areas that shouldn't be neglected. We all have areas of our life that can be distractions. Over the years I have battled many of those distractions. I find myself continually asking myself... Am I on course or am I getting dangerously close to the rocks/distractions that will shipwreck me.. maybe permanently. The one thing about those distractions/rocks..is that many times boats fail to see or realize that they are upon the rocks until its too late. Brother Kenneth E. Hagin used to say that most people don't even fulfill the will of God for their lives because they fail to take the time to seek him so they can find it. He goes on to say that many minister's don't even rise above the 1st level of ministry because of it. I've read in one of Brother Hagin's books that there was a certain businessman who because a millionaire because in every business decision he made he would seek God first..I am sure that you can think of business decisions that you have made with and without the leading of the Holy Spirit.. I know that I can. Let me admonish you to read and re-read Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin's Book How To Be Led By The Spirit of God. It will bless you abundantly and help you find your God given destiny!..Pastor Curt believes it to be so important that we offer a class on this book in the Newark School of Supernatural Ministries. Kenneth Hagin Ministries also sells the tapes for this book to! Anyway you can get this into your spirit it will change your life

Blessings
